Event Registration Terms & Conditions

By registering for an event hosted by Business Central, attendees agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Registration 

   • All registrations must be completed through the official event registration platform. 

   • Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email. 

   • Event places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. 

2. Payment 

   • Payment must be received in full prior to the event unless otherwise agreed by Business Central. 

   • All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable. 

3. Cancellations and Refunds 

   • Requests to cancel a registration must be submitted in writing to Business Central. 

   • Refunds will be provided as follows: 

   • Cancellations received seven (7) or more days prior to the event will receive a full refund less a $20 administration fee per registration. 

   • Cancellations received within seven (7) days of the event are not eligible for a refund. 

   • Substitutions may be made at any time before the event by notifying Business Central in writing. 

   • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method and may take up to 10 business days to appear. 

4. Event Changes and Cancellation 

   • Business Central reserves the right to alter the programme, speakers, venue, date, or timing of the event where necessary. 

   • In the unlikely event that Business Central cancels the event, registered attendees will receive a full refund of registration fees paid. 

   • Business Central will not be liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by attendees. 

5. Attendee Conduct 

   • Business Central is committed to providing a professional, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants. 

   • Attendees are expected to conduct themselves appropriately and respectfully toward speakers, sponsors, staff, and fellow attendees. 

   • Business Central reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any attendee whose behaviour is considered inappropriate or disruptive. 

6. Photography and Recording 

   • Photography, video recording, and audio recording may occur during the event. 

   • By attending, participants grant Business Central permission to use photographs and recordings for promotional, marketing, and reporting purposes unless written notice is provided prior to the event. 

7. Privacy 

   • Personal information collected during registration will be managed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation and Business Central's Privacy Policy. 

   • Registration information may be shared with event sponsors where this forms part of the event registration process and has been disclosed to attendees. 

8. 8Liability 

   • Attendees participate in the event at their own risk. 

   • To the extent permitted by law, Business Central accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred as a result of attending the event. 

9. Acceptance of Terms 

   • Submission of an event registration constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
