Jo is Intergen’s Executive General Manager, Customer Success. Jo has extensive experience working in a range of executive leadership roles both in New Zealand and overseas, including NZ Global Technology Services Leader for IBM New Zealand, Chief Executive for Dimension Data NZ and Chief Executive, Fujitsu NZ. Jo is driven by building talented teams who deliver great experiences and outcomes for clients and their customers.

As Chair of Business Central, EMAC, Director for WellingtonNZ and Board of Governors Scots College, Jo is an engaged mentor and coach and, in 2018, won the Women in ICT Achievement Award. She has a strong history of commitment and service to New Zealand business and the IT industry, and has previously been engaged on the Ministerial NZ CyberSkills Taskforce, and a Board Member for NZTech.

Siah Hwee Ang is Professor of International Business and Strategy, the inaugural Chair in Business in Asia and Director of the Southeast Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence at Victoria University of Wellington. From 2017-2019, Siah also chaired the Victoria University’s Enabling Our Asia Pacific Trading Nation Research Distinctiveness Theme. In these roles, Siah works closely with various stakeholders and companies on their strategies in Asia and Asia’s engagement in New Zealand. Siah joined the leadership team of the New Zealand ASEAN Business Alliance and the board of the ASEAN NZ Business Council in 2019.

Before joining Victoria University of Wellington in 2013, Siah was Professor in Strategy and Associate Dean Postgraduate and International (Asia) at The University of Auckland Business School (2003-2013), where he held various governance roles and drove many initiatives for his department, faculty and university. Siah has also held positions at City University in London (2001-2003) and National University of Singapore, where he completed his PhD. Siah is Visiting Professor to several Asian universities. He writes frequently in New Zealand and international media.

Jonathan ‘Jono' Dean is Chief Executive of Ruapehu Alpine Lifts, which is the parent company operating Whakapapa and Tūroa Ski Areas on Mt Ruapehu in the Central North Island. Jono assumed the position of CEO of RAL in October 2019 and has led the company through the challenging COVID-19 response and the 2020 and 2021 Winter seasons, working closely with his team and the Board to ensure the company has been able to continue trading through this difficult period. Jono holds a number of roles in governance as a member of the Ski Areas Association of New Zealand (SAANZ) executive team driving the industry forward, and also two iwi co-governance groups which oversee the RAL’s activities on maunga Ruapehu and within the Tongariro National Park.

Jono is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors and has recently completed the Residential Company Directors course and is in pursuit of his chartered member accreditation. Throughout the last 20 years, Jono has built a career in the hospitality and tourism sector in New Zealand and Australia, and has taken significant interest in the communities and people he works with, developing a passion for furthering opportunities for his teams and their whanau. Jono strongly advocates for the interests of small business and through his work strives to improve outcomes in regional New Zealand. Jono, while originally from Wellington where he attended Victoria University, now calls the Central North Island home and resides in Taupō with his family.

Brad Olsen is a Principal Economist and Director at Infometrics and is one of New Zealand’s leading economic commentators. Brad’s passionate about using economics to make better informed decisions, demonstrating the ability to communicate complex and detailed trends in a simple, relatable and useful manner. With extensive networks across New Zealand’s business, media, community and social sectors, Brad often brings together a variety of views, data and emerging trends to inform advice and analysis to key decision makers across New Zealand.

Brad’s a community leader and is New Zealand’s youngest Justice of the Peace. His work in the community has been recognised a number of times: he was named New Zealand’s Queen’s Young Leader in 2016, one of Asia New Zealand Foundation’s 25 to Watch in 2019, and Young Wellingtonian of the Year 2020.

As a young person, Brad brings a different perspective to key opportunities and challenges that New Zealand faces and he’s keen to unlock more potential across businesses and communities. Emerging trends continue to accelerate the pace of change across the world and in New Zealand, and Brad focuses on understanding these evolving trends and highlighting ways to enhance outcomes for local communities.

Mark is a well-respected Chief Executive with many governance roles, including Chair of Audit and Risk Committee UNICEF NZ; Director of Motortrain, LCB Management NZ Limited and WelTec Enterprise Limited.

A significant focus of Mark’s senior management career has been linked to regional economic development, regional skills strategies, change management, private/public partnerships and sustainable business growth.

As a co-opted Board Member of Business Central and Wellington Chamber of Commerce, Mark has enjoyed the challenge and is keen to continue to ensure member needs are met, from both an advocacy and ‘value’ perspective, along with a strong regional representation.

Karun’s professional career has largely been in the Information Technology industry in New Zealand but also includes stints in the IT sectors in Singapore and India. This has included roles spanning from management of major $100 million-plus technology programmes and leadership in software companies through to founding a tech start-up. He has operated his Wellington-based IT consulting company for over twenty years, providing programme and project management services as well as business transformation consultancy.

Karun is currently on the board of Angel HQ (whose members invest in early stage companies) and English Language Partners (NZ’s largest NGO, working with former refugees and migrants as an accredited training establishment). He has mentored start-ups, small businesses and new migrants.

He is also an Independent Director for Copyright Licensing New Zealand and the Director of Beacon Consulting.

Karun emigrated to Wellington 30 years ago, and says he has found it exhilarating to have experienced the city’s transformation into the world’s most liveable city. He’s passionate about helping to generate sustainable growth so that Wellington’s vibrancy is underpinned by a strong economic, export and employment foundation.

Adele is the Chief Executive of 3R Group Ltd, with over 12 years’ management experience and nine years directly related to the development of waste solutions for environmental and economic benefit across a range of industries.

In addition to being the Deputy Chair of Business Central and Chair of Āmiomio Aotearoa, Adele is the Director for multiple organisations including Tyrewise, Autostewardships NZ, Governance for Good and Borderline NZ.

Adele is also currently a member of The Ministry for the Environment Waste & Resource Efficiency Advisory Group.
