The New Zealand Government's Apprenticeship Boost initiative has achieved a significant milestone, with 20,000 employers participating in the program. Since its launch in August 2020, the initiative has supported nearly 62,000 apprentices in commencing and advancing their trade training. The program's central aim has been to create opportunities for meaningful employment and address skill shortages.
