This team will collaborate with regions across New Zealand to implement their own destination plans, considering each region's unique attractions while ensuring national coordination, with the aim to provide a great visitor experience, boost local economies, and create jobs while protecting the environment. Regions are already developing plans with $11.5 million from the COVID-19 relief package.
