All employers and managers need to have a sound understanding of the rights and responsibilities of those involved in the employment relationship, to ensure effective management of workplace issues. This course will provide a deeper understanding of key legislation that governs the employment relationship. We will cover both legislative requirements and best practices.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Interpretation of individual employment agreements and collective agreements.
- Increase understanding of core legal responsibilities in the employment relations area and improve decision-making by ensuring there is a sound understanding of obligations.
- Identification of risk areas in applying the legislation and possible solutions.
- Practical application of the legislation to common employment situations.

One day course, 9am – 4pm
