Your business or legal entity is a PCBU (Person Conducting Business or Undertaking) and where there are overlapping H&S duties, a PCBU has a duty to consult, cooperate and monitor other PCBU activities to ensure that health and safety is effectively managed. The 2015 Act defines contractors, sub-contractors and other businesses you deal with as “PCBUs”.
This course will help you manage those duties and understand any overlaps.
- Understand key components of the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 and how they relate to contractor management. Outline the considerations in procuring, selecting, engaging and managing contractors.
- Conduct Health & Safety performance assessments on contractors.
- Prepare/audit contractor Health & Safety documentation.
